Imerys, the world leader in mineral-based solutions, has selected ResourceBank as its new UK outsourced recruitment partner. ResourceBank has taken responsibility for managing talent attraction and recruitment activity for all 33 Imerys’ UK sites and legal entities.
Prior to appointing ResourceBank, Imerys UK had a high reliance on multiple recruitment agencies to source candidates. This arrangement did not promote the Imerys employer brand effectively within the UK, was time consuming, inefficient and costly.
The Imerys UK Purchasing team led an RFP in the Spring of 2022 and, following a series of proposals and presentations, ResourceBank was the unanimous choice of the UK Purchasing, HR and Operations teams. The implementation phase has been completed over the summer including the establishment of the dedicated ResourceBank Imerys Recruitment Team located on-site at Imerys in Cornwall and at ResourceBank offices in Telford.
The recruitment partnership was launched on 1st September and, within two weeks of go-live, the first two offers had already been made and the Imerys HR team had received excellent feedback on the service provided by ResourceBank. Line managers have commented that it is refreshing to have a briefing call with a recruitment specialist who is knowledgeable, wants to know about the personalities within the team and gives a real commitment to finding the best candidate possible for the role.
