ResourceBank commenced a partial RPO for Northgate Vehicle Hire in 2012, and it became our first Avature implementation in January 2015. Immediately, the team saw the benefits of improved candidate processing and links to social media and SMS.

Our partnership with Northgate flourished into a full strategic RPO in 2017. We were responsible for attracting over 500 candidates a year in a variety of skill areas such as motor vehicle technicians, customer service assistants, IT, finance, and new business managers.

We introduced Avature portals for Internal candidate management, External candidate attraction and management, interview timeslots, hiring manager coordination, and new employee onboarding.  All portals, but most significantly the employee onboarding portal, were paperless and thus significantly improved speed, efficiency, and waste reduction.

We embedded the candidate vacancy feed into a bespoke Careers website for Northgate which significantly improved candidate engagement.  The careers website included an innovative “Benefits Calculator” which visually demonstrated the value of the excellent benefits provided by Northgate and increased candidate awareness and engagement with these benefits.

Throughout the contract, candidates were unaware that a third party managed recruitment and NPS scores in the 90s were achieved.

The partnership helped Northgate achieve excellent growth and led to the business merging with Redde in 2019 (now called ZIGUP).
