Before 2010, Northgate Vehicle Hire’s recruitment was fragmented across 30 separate businesses in the UK and Ireland, resulting in inconsistent standards and high agency costs. The implementation of Avature portals brought significant improvements to Northgate’s recruitment process, especially in candidate satisfaction and efficiency. The paperless onboarding system streamlined operations and reduced administrative tasks, while the mobile-optimized recruitment process enhanced the candidate experience.
Northgate’s Net Promoter Score (NPS) soared to 90+, reflecting high candidate satisfaction. Additionally, ResourceBank successfully filled 500+ hires per year across various roles, with the Bespoke Careers Website and Benefits Calculator driving greater engagement and showcasing Northgate’s competitive benefits.
These improvements not only made recruitment more efficient but also played a key role in Northgate’s growth and eventual merger with Redde (now ZIGUP) in 2019.
