Why Partnerships matter to ResourceBank (and our clients)

At ResourceBank, partnership is more than a word, it’s the foundation of how we work. Strong partnerships are built on shared values, trust, and a long-term commitment to working together.

At ResourceBank, “partnership” is more than a word, it’s the foundation of how we work.

After starting the year with a focus on Community in January, February is about Partnerships. For us, the two are closely connected. Strong partnerships are built on shared values, trust, and a long-term commitment to working together. Not transactional relationships or short-term fixes.

A Partnership, Not a Supplier

We don’t see ourselves as a recruitment supplier. Instead, we aim to become a true extension of our clients’ talent teams. That means taking the time to understand each organisation’s culture, challenges, and ambitions, and adapting our approach as those needs evolve.

The recruitment industry often refers to the model as RPO (Recruitment Process Outsourcing). At ResourceBank, we prefer to think differently — using the term ORP: Outsourced Recruitment Partnerships.

As Richard explains in his recent article on the subject:

Successful RPO isn’t about outsourcing a process. It’s about building a talent partnership where responsibility, trust and outcomes are shared.”.

Richard Pearson Chief Executive

That distinction matters. Our focus is not on taking something away from our clients, but on working alongside them in a way that adds long-term value.

What Partnership Looks Like in Practice

Our most successful relationships are those that develop as partnerships with clients. As businesses change, grow, and transform, our role is to provide consistency, insight, and expertise, helping our partners make confident hiring decisions that support long-term success.

A strong recruitment partnership is built on:

This approach allows us to deliver better outcomes, not just better recruitment processes.

Long-Term Relationships, Real Impact

We’re proud to work with a number of organisations on a long-term basis, supporting them through different phases of their business journey. One example is our partnership with World Duty Free, which will mark its 19th year this year — a relationship built on trust, continuity, and shared success.

Throughout February, we’ll be bringing this theme to life by featuring several of our long-term partnerships, sharing real examples of how collaborative recruitment relationships evolve and deliver lasting impact over time.
