When Middleby UK required a structured way to manage its hiring process, ResourceBank provided a streamlined recruitment solution. Initially, our role focused on vacancy approvals and advertising, ensuring that all Middleby vacancies were recorded in our Avature system and seamlessly advertised on job-boards and on a bespoke-designed candidate application portal.
This dedicated platform improved candidate visibility and simplified the application process as well as giving a full audit trail for vacancy approvals.
Enhancing hiring manager control
As Middleby’s recruitment needs evolved, we introduced an Avature Hiring Manager Portal allowing hiring managers to:
- Submit vacancies directly into the system
- Track candidate applications automatically
- Gain real-time visibility on recruitment progress
This enhancement provided greater control and efficiency, ensuring that vacancies were managed more effectively from the point of submission to final hiring decisions.
Expanding the portal: employee change requests
Beyond recruitment Middleby saw the potential of the Avature platform to support broader HR functions. In response, we extended the Hiring Manager Portal to incorporate Employee Change Requests, creating a single auditable and trackable system. This allowed hiring managers to:
- Log employee change requests directly into the system
- Route approvals through an automated workflow
- Maintain a centralised and compliant record of all requests
This expansion streamlined internal processes, reducing administrative burden while ensuring all changes were fully documented and approved.
Full outsourced recruitment for AGA Rangemaster
Building on our successful partnership in 2023 we extended our service to provide a full end-to-end outsourced recruitment service for AGA Rangemaster, a key brand within the Middleby UK portfolio. This included the launch of a bespoke careers website that not only showcased job opportunities but also featured interviews with current staff members, providing an authentic insight into life at AGA Rangemaster.
