Apprentice and Graduate Recruitment

We celebrate ResourceBank’s 10-year partnership with Avature by sharing 10 stories highlighting how we have leveraged its market-leading Talent Attraction technology to transform our clients’ talent outcomes.

In honour of National Apprenticeship Week, this week’s feature explores how ResourceBank has efficiently set up apprentice and graduate recruitment campaigns using Avature for clients such as Daikin, DHL, and SMT.

Scalable and Adaptable Workflows

One of the biggest challenges in early careers recruitment is handling high volumes of applications while maintaining a seamless candidate experience. Avature’s flexible workflows allow ResourceBank to rapidly implement proven recruitment processes for new clients. By cloning existing workflows and tailoring them to each employer’s needs, we ensure apprenticeship and graduate hiring campaigns launch with speed and efficiency.

For instance, when supporting Daikin’s drive to recruit a new generation of service engineers, ResourceBank leveraged Avature’s automated workflows to manage applications, assessments, and interviews—ensuring a smooth process for candidates and hiring teams. Similarly, our work with DHL Global Forwarding saw Avature’s custom workflows source and assess top graduate talent, contributing to a successful recruitment campaign.

One-Click Apply

Avature’s seamless integration with job boards has significantly improved the candidate experience. We have developed a one-click apply process, making it easier for candidates to submit their apprenticeship applications compared to other systems. This enhancement reduces application friction and increases engagement, ensuring a higher volume of quality applications.

Integration with Digital Interviewing Platforms

In early careers recruitment, assessing large applicant pools efficiently is key. Avature’s seamless integration with digital interviewing platforms like HireVue enables ResourceBank to manage high application volumes without sacrificing quality. One of the biggest challenges in apprenticeship recruitment is capturing candidates’ motivation at scale. With HireVue, we can assess motivation effectively, which proved crucial for our Daikin and DHL campaigns.

Fair and Unbiased Candidate Scoring

A key benefit of Avature’s platform is its built-in scoring system, which we utilise during interviews. This feature allows us to present an unbiased and justified shortlist of candidates using a fair and transparent scoring system. This approach was particularly beneficial in our work with DHL, ensuring the most suitable candidates progressed through the selection process.

Driving Efficiency in Early Careers Hiring

Avature’s adaptability has been a game-changer for our clients, reducing time-to-hire while improving candidate engagement. By leveraging Avature’s capabilities, ResourceBank ensures businesses investing in apprenticeships and graduate recruitment have a scalable and efficient solution in place.
